The EuroMALDI project will be present at the 63rd ASMS Conference on Mass Spectrometry and Allied Topics to occur in St. Louis (MI) in June 2015. This is arguably the most important event in the Mass Spectrometry field across the globe. It is organised every year by the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS).
This year EuroMALDI contributes no less than three poster presentations to the conference, both in collaboration with the Wolfson Molecular Imaging Centre in Manchester (UK).
The first of them, whose presenting author is Dr. Philippa Hart, studies the neuroinflammatory responses observed in the brain after a stroke by studying the molecular composition via multimodal imaging using the MALDI 7090 instrument.
Secondly, Dr. Roberto Castangia is the first author of an abstract about structural elucidation of co-polymer-like surfactants using MALDI hi-energy collision induced dissociation.
Finally, a poster studying new normalisation approaches by exploring non-convex version of the generalised normalisation function is presented by the recruited researcher, Dr. Luis Mancera.
We are looking forward to the event and sure that it will be a very profitable experience for the project. See you at St. Louis!
